Several big name sites will be offline tomorrow, January 18, 2012, in order to protest the SOPA or the Stop Online Piracy Act. It will also cover the Protect IP Act (PIPA). These are some of the sites.
The internet blackout will really affect the online community. But the owners say that this is their way of showing people how the internet will be like if the SOPA is passed.
