Upgrade to the Latest WordPress Version to Protect Your Blogs

A lot of WordPress users lately had found that their blogs had been hacked. The entry points was the free WordPress themes, the outdated WordPress version, and the old plugins.

Ruby of Pinay Mommy Online advises the following:

Attention All WordPress Users!! The hacking incident that happened to the PMC server is not only an isolated case. I just got an info that the hacking is happening all over the world. The point of entry why they can dominate an entire server is from WordPress users who have not upgraded their WP Version. So, if you want to be responsible WP users and not affect an entire server, please upgrade your WordPress Version to the latest and please back-up your blogs. Don’t be the reason for the hackers to get in to the entire server.:(

I think that is self-explanatory. The latest WordPress versions can be easily installed with just a click from the dashboards. And so are the plugins. While we cannot completely fool proof everything because even the government websites of America that have the greatest security have already been hacked. But at least do not just be lackadaisical about things. Do something!
