Becoming a Domainaholic

There are people who are into collecting stuff. But there is another breed of collectors today and it has something to do with the internet and blogging. These people are called the domainaholics.
This is a newly coined term that may not yet be accepted internationally but is already accepted among bloggers’ circles. “Domainaholics” may then pertain to people who keep on buying and collecting domain names, whether these are .org, .com, .info, .net, or whatever. They may use it and fill it up with content or they just park it as part of their collection. Or if it is a premium domain name, they might sell it to the highest bidder.
But let us not confuse the domainaholics with people who really buy premium domain names in bulk so that they can re-sell these for a higher price. Some premium names, especially those for big companies, can sell up to $2,500, just for the transfer of rights. Imagine that.
The domainaholics just collect and blog. This author is no different. This author now has 21 blogs, all 19 of them have contents already. The two just needs to be set up. Hopefully this will be it and she will be able to maintain it with quality content.
If you are also a domainaholic, do speak up here and leave a comment. How many domains are attached to your name?
